Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an OT Systems Engineer for Propellant Generation & Industrial Systems to design, deploy, and maintain next‑generation OT environments supporting launch and manufacturing operations. You will integrate IT/OT, automate infrastructure, and ensure high security and reliability across multiple sites.

The role requires scripting, IaC, and experience with industrial controls networks in high‑reliability contexts, with on-site work and after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 3+ years OT systems experience, or 5+ years without degree.
• Experience with multiple industry standard controls software platforms.
• Experience designing, deploying, supporting, and troubleshooting OT environments in high-reliability settings.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and augment OT environments across sites.
• Install, configure, maintain, and support industry-standard controls software platforms and HMIs.
• Integrate IT technologies to simplify management, improve security, and scale plant environments.
• Provide support during launch, test, and production campaigns.
• Proactively monitor services and respond rapidly to incidents to maintain high availability.
