Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an OT Systems Engineer to design, deploy, and support back-end OT environments for our plant and launch systems across multiple sites. You will integrate IT technologies, develop automation, and ensure high availability and security in industrial settings.

The role requires collaboration with IT, security, controls, and operations teams, and occasional after-hours work with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field with 3+ years in OT/ICS, or 5+ years without a degree.
• Experience with multiple OT software platforms and high-reliability environments.
• Ability to design, deploy, and troubleshoot OT environments in industrial settings.
• Proficiency in scripting and infrastructure-as-code tooling.
• Knowledge of OT cybersecurity and industrial protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and augment OT environments for plant and launch systems across sites.
• Install, configure, maintain, and support controls software and HMIs.
• Integrate IT technologies to improve security and scalability of plant environments.
• Provide development, test, and staging environments for controlled changes.
• Collaborate across IT, security, controls, and operations to resolve issues.
