Job summary

Abbott is seeking an Operational Technology Engineer in Columbus, OH to support and maintain manufacturing OT data systems and related hardware/software. You will ensure Cybersecurity compliance and collaborate with IT to keep OT systems running with high uptime.

Responsibilities include HMIs support, cross-functional project delivery, and on-call OT assistance, with a focus on OSIsoft PI, Ignition, and DeltaV environments in a fully onsite setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT/engineering/operational experience in manufacturing or similar environments.
• Experience with OT/IT systems, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance is preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Columbus, OH and collaborate cross‑functionally.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain manufacturing operation data systems and servers for OT environments.
• Coordinate with IT for secured OT infrastructure and cyber security activities.
• Provide HMIs architecture support and participate in cross-functional capital projects.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with internal quality and process authorities.
• Provide on-call OT system support.
