We are hiring an Occupational Therapist to work in skilled nursing facilities, designing creative interventions to restore independence in ADLs, cognition, and safe discharge planning. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is available, with a supportive team and mentorship for new graduates.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current or eligible for New York State OT license.
• NBCOT certification (or eligible).
• Strong passion for helping patients regain independence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with nursing, PT, SLP, and social work for coordinated care.
• Address self-care skills, cognitive and perceptual deficits, home safety, and caregiver training.
• Adapt interventions to facilitate safe discharge planning and functional independence.
