Job summary

Fluidstack seeks a Security Engineer to protect its frontier OT/ICS infrastructure across substations and production facilities. You will threat model, design robust segmentation, and work with hardware and software teams to implement controls that scale with our compute platforms.

You will partner with engineers on PLC pipelines, firmware security, and incident response, ensuring secure by design principles across global data centers and edge deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience securing substations, SCADA, or industrial control systems in production.
• Ability to threat model OT environments and implement segmentation and controls.
• Familiar with the Purdue Model and virtualized PLCs.
• Hands-on with OT security tooling and understanding tool visibility.
• Experience with BMS, EPMS, and cooling systems.
• Influence engineering teams through design reviews and security guidance.

Responsibilities

• Threat model OT systems and design secure architecture.
• Design segmentation and secure remote access for OT estate.
• Coordinate with controls engineers on PLC pipelines and firmware security.
• Serve as security consultant to power, controls, commissioning, and site teams.
• Collaborate with detection/response to tune OT coverage and respond to incidents.
• Lead engagements with hardware OEMs on product security requirements.
