Job summary

Benefis Health System in Montana is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess and treat patients across cognitive, sensory, neuromuscular and daily living domains, tailored to individual needs. You will educate patients and collaborate with the care team, delegating tasks as appropriate and ensuring compliance with all policies.

Eligible candidates have graduated from an approved OT program, possess Montana licensure, and maintain current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of Occupational Therapy.
• Temporary licensure as governed by the State Practice Act.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current License from the State of Montana.

Responsibilities

• Perform age and diagnosis specific assessment and treatment based on patient needs, including cognitive, sensory, neuromuscular, and functional daily living skills.
• Provide education related to the treatment program, disease process and prevention of further injuries.
• Delegate aspects of care to OTA or Rehabilitation aide per job description and collaborate with the health care team.
• Maintain compliance with all organization policies and procedures and handle pressure to meet deadlines.
