Job summary

Benefis Hospitals Inc. seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support the OT in implementing care plans and treatment programs. You will assist with exercises, ADLs, and community reintegration while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will educate patients and families about the treatment plan and disease processes, and comply with all policies and licensing requirements. This role supports Benefis Health System’s mission across one of Montana’s premier health systems.

Qualifications

• AA degree from a school or college approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Licensed by the State of Montana as an OTA.
• Current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the occupational therapist (OT) in implementing the plan of care and treatment programs.
• Perform treatments commensurate with education and training.
• Educate patient/family about the treatment program and disease process.
