Premier Therapy in Doylestown, Ohio is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our rehabilitation team in a skilled nursing facility. You will deliver skilled occupational therapy, evaluate residents, and create goal-driven plans to promote independence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Ohio OT license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
• Preferred but not required: skilled nursing or geriatric rehab experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to identify functional limitations, strengths, and rehab needs.
• Develop and implement individualized, goal-driven occupational therapy plans.
• Provide evidence-based interventions to improve independence with daily living activities.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and compensatory strategies for safety and function.
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, SLPs, nursing, and other professionals.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on independence and safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Deliver resident-centered, compassionate care to support meaningful rehab outcomes.

What You'll Do as an Occupational Therapist

As a PRN Occupational Therapist, you'll provide skilled occupational therapy services that help residents improve their functional abilities and quality of life.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Evaluate residents to identify functional limitations, strengths, and rehabilitation needs.

• Develop and implement individualized, goal-driven occupational therapy treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based interventions to improve independence with activities of daily living.

• Recommend adaptive equipment and compensatory strategies to promote safety and functional performance.

• Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.

• Collaborate with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.

• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on techniques that promote independence and safety.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and applicable regulations.

• Deliver compassionate, resident-centered care that supports meaningful rehabilitation outcomes.

What We're Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

• Current Ohio Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.

• A compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused approach to care.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

• Previous skilled nursing or geriatric rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required.
