Job summary

Vibra Healthcare in Rapid City, SD, seeks an Occupational Therapist to deliver and direct OT services, including assessment, treatment, program planning and documentation under physician orders at our partner facilities across the country.

You will supervise COTA and therapy aides; travel as needed; must have BS in OT, NBCOT, state licensure, BLS, driver's license, and ability to relocate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy (Masters preferred).
• NBCOT registration and active state license.
• Current BLS certification and valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing and directing Occupational Therapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication in assigned locations. Functions under a physicians order.

Position Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervises the following positions: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) and Rehabilitation Aides/Therapy Techs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy, where accepted. Masters degree required otherwise.
• NBCOT registered and licensed per state of practice requirements.
• Current, valid, and active license per state requirements in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
• Current, valid, and active driver's license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• One (1) year of experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations

NBCOT registered and licensed per state of practice requirements. Current, valid, and active registration or license per state requirements in the state of employment required. Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
