Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Beachwood, OH. The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring safety and compliance with standards. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and support discharge planning.

The position requires at least 2 years of OT experience, a current state license, and BLS certification. Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, 5 days per week.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist plans, organizes, develops, administers, directs, and supervises OT treatment in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, regulations, and guidelines. Responsibilities

• Assess patient functioning levels upon physician orders and implement appropriate treatment plans.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team processes and discharge planning, including patient/family education.
• Complete documentation as per departmental policies and provide daily progress notes.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and OT/COTA students.
• Display a customer service attitude towards all patients and staff.
• Promote continuous quality improvement and document quality assurance initiatives.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure a safe work environment.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Occupational Therapy.

Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a valid, current State license.
