Job summary

The City of Lake Worth Beach seeks an Operational Technology (OT) Network Engineer to manage and secure the electric utility's critical IT/OT network, including SCADA, VMware, Windows servers, switches, routers, and security appliances.

This full-time, non-bargaining role requires collaboration with staff and contractors, accurate documentation, backups and disaster recovery planning, and strict adherence to government regulations and security best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining operational technologies including SCADA, VMware, and Windows servers.
• Knowledge of network design, security appliances, and backup/recovery processes.
• Ability to document architecture and update configurations as changes occur.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to work with staff and contractors.
• Capable of complying with government regulations and incident response protocols.
