Job summary

The City of Lake Worth Beach is seeking an Operational Technology (OT) Network Engineer to support the city’s electric utility by administering, maintaining, and improving critical infrastructure, including SCADA and HMI systems, and key network devices.

This full-time exempt role requires hands-on experience with VMware, Windows Server, routers, switches, firewalls, and security, with documentation, backup, and disaster recovery responsibilities; on-site work at the Utilities Building in Lake

Qualifications

• Experience managing and maintaining OT networks and critical infrastructure.
• Valid Florida driver's license.
• Experience with SCADA and HMI systems.
• Ability to document architectures and update docs.
• Willingness to work on-site in Lake Worth Beach.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain OT network operations, including SCADA, switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Plan, install, and maintain network infrastructure devices.
• Ensure backups, replication, and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with city staff, providers, and contractors.
• Keep documentation current and communicate changes.
• Support physical and logical network security.
