Job summary

Jupiter Power is seeking a Network Engineer to design, deploy, and support secure, high‑availability OT networks for utility‑scale BESS. You will own the architecture, documentation, and implementation of OT at datacenters and site networks to ensure reliable, grid‑compliant operation.

The role blends hands‑on field work with system design and OT cybersecurity alignment, requires travel for startup and commissioning, and will shift toward design‑focused engineering as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
• 3+ years designing and supporting industrial or critical infrastructure networks.
• Experience in OT, utility, or industrial control environments.
• Ability to travel to project sites for field commissioning.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain OT/network architectures for BESS sites.
• Lead network planning for site LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, segmentation.
• Configure switches, routers, firewalls, and remote access.
• Ensure secure comms between SCADA, plant controllers, PCS, meters.
• Lead network commissioning and site acceptance activities.
• Diagnose latency and network issues in live utility environments.
• Develop network standards and diagrams.
• Support OT cybersecurity requirements and NERC CIP program.
