Job summary

LG Energy Solution Vertech, Inc. is seeking a Network Specialist (Contractor) to configure, commission, and startup industrial networks at utility-scale BESS projects across the US. You will deploy switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless devices while aligning designs with IEC/NIST standards.

You will test networks, support OT–BMS/SCADA integrations, and document configurations for handover. Travel up to 75% nationwide is required; strong problem-solving and ability to work in field

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years in industrial/OT networking in energy projects.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% across the US.

Responsibilities

• Configure and startup network devices across BESS sites.
• Implement VLANs, routing, segmentation, and cybersecurity.
• Support energization and OT network integration with BMS/SCADA.
• Perform network testing and validation.
• Provide training and handover packages.
• Ensure compliance with IEC 62443, NIST, IEEE, NERC CIP.
• Maintain detailed network documentation.
