Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid-Level OT/IT Network Engineer to own the STOL laboratory's network and connected‑vehicle testbed infrastructure in McLean, VA. You will design, administer, secure, and troubleshoot lab networks, including field sites and RSUs, while coordinating ATO/RMF artifacts with CIS and researchers.

The role emphasizes hands‑on network engineering and administration, with growth toward V2X and federal security authorization work within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in network engineering, IT, ECE, CS or equivalent; 4–8 years in OT/IT networks or 7+ years with an associate degree.
• Strong hands-on experience designing, configuring, administering, and troubleshooting OT/industrial networks.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, switching, routing, VLANs, ACLs, NAT, VPNs, and security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, administer, and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, wireless, VPNs, and remote-site connectivity.
• Manage Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, including VLANs, routing, subnetting, ACLs, NAT, segmentation, and IP addressing.
• Monitor network health, performance, and security, and document configurations and inventories.
• Operate STOL's testbeds and support laboratory experiments, field testing, and demonstrations.
• Support ATO/RMF documentation, vulnerability remediation, and coordination with CIS.
