Job summary

Leidos Health and Services Sector in McLean, VA seeks a hands-on Mid-Level OT/IT Network Engineer to join the Saxton Lab Team. You will own STOL's lab network and testbed infrastructure, from design and administration to security and documentation, supporting V2X and connected-vehicle demonstrations.

This role emphasizes network engineering, RMF/ATO artifacts, and collaboration with researchers and CIS. Eligible candidates must be in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 4–8 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining OT/industrial networks.
• Knowledge of NIST RMF and ATO processes.
• Linux proficiency and ability to troubleshoot with network tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and troubleshoot OT/IT networks and testbed infrastructure.
• Manage VLANs, routing, ACLs, NAT, and IP addressing.
• Maintain DNS/DHCP/NTP/PTP timing and connectivity to field sites (RSUs/edge nodes).
• Monitor network health and troubleshoot with Wireshark, SNMP, and logs.
• Develop RMF/ATO artifacts and coordinate remediation.
• Support test campaigns and demonstrations with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure safety practices and documentation for lab operations.
