Job summary

Brown and Caldwell is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to secure OT and IT environments across water and environmental infrastructure. The role focuses on risk assessments, architecture reviews, and regulatory compliance.

You will lead security projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to business development while advancing SOC integration and secure remote access strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of cyber security consultant experience required.
• Relevant certifications such as GICSP, CISSP, ISAS/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert preferred.
• Experience with on-premise and cloud architectures required.
• Experience with NIST SP 800-82, NIST CSF, IEC 62443 and CIS Controls preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic cyber engineering consultation projects.
• Advise on security solutions aligned with company strategy and operations.
• Perform security assessments for OT/ICS and IT client systems.
• Validate security solution architecture, design, and implementation.
• Support business development from a cybersecurity standpoint.
• Ensure compliance with policies and external regulations.
