Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is actively seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 40-hour contract in Danville, VA. The OT will evaluate clients, develop and deliver therapy services, and document care in accordance with each patient’s plan of care.

Requirements include active OT licensure in the state, graduation from an accredited OT program, and CPR if applicable. Prior OT experience is preferred, with compliance to health and safety standards throughout the contract.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• One year of experience preferred.
• CPR if applicable.
• TB screening / chest x-ray if applicable.
• Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform client evaluations and develop occupational therapy plans of care.
• Provide occupational therapy services and document interactions per plan of care.
• Ensure services are documented and compliant with regulatory requirements.
