Job summary

Kennestone Hospital in Georgia is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess, plan, and implement rehabilitation programs aimed at restoring daily living activities, mobility, and cognitive tasks. You will work with the care team to set goals, discharge plans, and provide education.

Responsibilities include documenting sessions, adhering to infection control, and traveling to multiple facilities as required for patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Requires degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelors/Masters).

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize and participate in rehabilitation programs to restore or improve ADLs, mobility, cognition, strength and ROM.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop plans of care and discharge plans.
• Document evaluations and plans per departmental guidelines and maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Adhere to infection prevention standards and provide patient/family education and discharge instructions.
• Travel to patients and facilities using own vehicle as required.
