Job summary

The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences seeks a Doctoral Coordinator for the Doctor of Occupational Therapy program. You will review proposals, help form the doctoral committee, organize defenses, and coordinate with the site mentor, program director, and AFWC to ensure project quality and residency outcomes.

This hybrid role requires on-campus presence at least once per term to support students and maintain program standards.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree required; post-professional doctorate preferred.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience at the college/university level.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience required.
• Eligible for state practice license (if applicable).
• Experience with distance learning preferred.
• Experience in scholarly activity preferred.
• Knowledge of IRB requirements.
• Exceptional communication, administrative and management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and to interact effectively with colleagues, administrators, faculty members and students, as well as external constituencies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses and oversee capstone project development with mentorship.
• Review proposals and organize doctoral project defenses.
• Coordinate with site mentor, program director, and AFWC on residency and project outcomes.
• Develop and implement scholarship plans and oversight of doctoral projects.
• Serve on committees and participate in university governance and professional activities.
• Perform administrative duties and support program operations.
