Job summary

Aurora Organic Dairy is seeking an OT Cybersecurity Engineer to protect its Operational Technology environments, including ICS, SCADA, PLCs, HMIs, historians, and plant-floor networks. You will implement OT-specific security controls, monitor for anomalies, and coordinate with IT security and operations to maintain reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field—or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years working with industrial control systems (PLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS) in manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Experience designing and implementing OT network segmentation, industrial DMZs, and secure remote access solutions.
• Strong understanding of OT protocols including Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, OPC UA, and BACnet.
• Familiarity with ISA/IEC 62443 and NIST SP 800-82 for OT cybersecurity.
• Experience with OT-specific asset discovery, anomaly detection, or industrial security platforms.
• Knowledge of patching limitations and uptime requirements for OT.
• Preferred certifications include GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Certificate, Security+, or CySA+.

Responsibilities

• Secure OT environments by implementing firewalls, segmented zones, and secure remote access.
• Monitor OT networks and processes for malicious activity and changes.
• Lead OT incident response with safe containment and recovery.
• Maintain OT network diagrams, asset inventories, and system mappings.
• Collaborate with engineering, plant operations, and controls technicians to secure PLCs/HMIs/automation.
• Manage OT patching and baseline configurations aligned with safety constraints.
• Support commissioning, upgrades, and lifecycle projects for plant automation equipment.
• Coordinate cross-domain cybersecurity reviews with IT and Operations teams.
