Job summary

Entergy is seeking an IT Specialist I-II based in West Monroe, LA to ensure reliability, security, and regulatory compliance of real-time OT and CIP systems across power generation environments. The role provides technical leadership in design, maintenance, and cyber-secure architectures, supporting 24/7 operations and outages.

Responsibilities include hardening OT systems, designing complex architectures, incident response, QA, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of end-to-end software development process and Operational Technology.
• ANSI Required: N.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and secure real-time OT systems and CIP-regulated cyber assets, including patching and compliance activities.
• Design, implement, troubleshoot, and enhance OT architectures (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA/DCS, PI data historians, network devices).
• Provide operational support and lead technical response efforts, including outage support and incident research.
• Conduct software QA, configuration management, and lifecycle planning for system reliability and documentation.
• Perform business/technical analysis to align capabilities with operations; develop reports, tools, or scripts.
• Lead and participate in cyber security programs including vulnerability assessments and incident response.
