Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced MES-OT integration professional in the United States. You will lead cross-functional efforts to connect MES with PLCs, SCADA and historians, ensuring data enablement from shop floor to MES and interfacing with SAP and other systems.

The role requires strong OT/IT collaboration, a track record in MES deployments from requirements through Go-Live, and hands-on experience with OPC UA connectivity and tag mapping.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of OT environments in manufacturing plants.
• Hands-on experience with OPC UA/DA, PLC integration, SCADA, historian systems, industrial networks.
• Knowledge of ISA-95, ISA-88 and MESA standards.
• Strong understanding of Production, Quality, OEE, material tracking and genealogy, electronic batch records.

Responsibilities

• Lead MES-OT integration activities with PLCs, SCADA, Historians and plant equipment.
• Support development of interfaces between MES, SAP, UNS and other enterprise systems.
• Drive OT data enablement from shop-floor systems up to MES.
• Configure and validate OPC UA connectivity and tag mapping.
• Work with plant automation, IT and OT teams to resolve integration issues.
• Support SIT, UAT, FAT and Go-Live activities.
• Ensure deployment and commissioning of MES solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with factory SMEs, OT engineers and vendors.
• Participate in requirement workshops and design reviews.
• Prepare technical documentation including HLD/LLD and deployment guides.

Salary Range-$110,000-$150,000 a year
