Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Clinical Specialist in Occupational Therapy in Los Angeles. The role focuses on designing, delivering and evaluating specialized OT treatment plans across adult, pediatric, and neuro rehab settings.

You will act as a resource and mentor to staff, conducting in-service training and collaborating with physicians to optimize patient outcomes. Licensure, BLS and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of 6-9 months of supervised OT fieldwork approved by the CA Board.
• Minimum 200 hours of specialized education in an AOTCB specialty and 2 years of full-time OT experience.
• CA Occupational Therapist License, BLS and CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Designs and delivers in-service training in the specialty area for students and staff.
• Assesses patient condition and progress throughout the OT treatment program.
• Performs evaluations to determine dysfunction and treatment needs.
• Sets measurable goals and develops individualized treatment plans.
• Reassesses progress and adjusts treatment as needed.
• Collaborates with physicians and rehabilitation staff on care plans.
• Maintains accurate documentation of treatments and outcomes.
