Job summary

TechDigital Group in Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced Industrial Automation professional to standardize shop-floor automation platforms, assist installation and commissioning of production lines from an OT perspective, and maintain PI Data Historian platform procedures to meet regulatory requirements.

You will drive continuous improvement for productivity and usability, provide IT/automation guidance for development with suppliers and mechanical designers, and shape the roadmap for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above with 5+ years automation system programming and IoT experience.
• Hands-on experience installation/troubleshooting development, design, and PLC-programming in Shopfloor manufacturing systems (Siemens PLC, Rockwell).
• Fluent English, able to work across time zones and with multicultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Standardize automation platforms in Shopfloor Manufacturing.
• Support installation and commissioning of production lines from OT perspective.
• Maintain global procedures and qualification strategies for the PI Data Historian Platform; coordinate with site teams to meet client and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and collect continuous improvement for productivity, usability, and serviceability.
• Drive and define platform activities to support growth and robust production with novelties and changes.
• Provide technical guidance for automation and IT architecture for development and design of automation/software with suppliers and mechanical designers.
• Ensure modularity and robustness for automation and mechatronics technology for next-gen production equipment.
• Support collaboration development of cross functional team.
• Develop the Automation roadmap for Sequencing & Life Sciences through internal stakeholder management and external vendor collaborations.
• Provide IT knowledge to ensure state-of-the-art architecture for a digital future.
• Engage stakeholders and customers during ramp-up and post-ramp phases of new automation equipment.

• Bachelor's degree or above, with 5+ years automation system programming and IOT experience
• Hands on experience such as installation / troubleshooting experience (development, design, and PLC-programming) in Shopfloor – Manufacturing systems like OSIPI Data Historian, Siemens PLC, Rockwell system
• Fluent English, working across time zones and with multicultural teams

• Drives and defines platform activities to ensure growth and robust production in respect to novelties and element specific changes.
• Provides technical guidance for automation and IT architecture for development and design of automation/software for equipment in collaboration with suppliers and mechanical designers.
• Ensures modularity and robustness for automation and mechatronics related technology for next generation of production equipment.
• Support collaboration development of cross functional team
• Develop the Automation roadmap for Sequencing & Life Sciences through both internal stakeholder management and external vendor collaborations.
