About the Role
The role involves managing global industrial controls and operational technology (OT) projects, ensuring system reliability and equipment readiness across various facilities. You will lead initiatives for equipment replacement and standardization, while collaborating with multiple teams to achieve operational excellence.
Responsibilities
OT Program & Project Management
- Manage global industrial controls and OT projects across manufacturing facilities and data centers
- Lead equipment replacement initiatives and OT system standardization efforts
- Oversee SCADA, EPMS, and BMS implementations, upgrades, and maintenance
- Coordinate building system updates including HVAC, cooling, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Manage firmware updates, patching cycles, and system upgrades globally
Technical Operations
- Take ownership of OT systems across every building in the global portfolio
- Partner with operations teams to ensure equipment readiness and system reliability
- Manage controllers, PLCs, and industrial control infrastructure
- Oversee cooling systems, HVAC operations, and building automation
- Integrate data collection from building systems into centralized databases
Stakeholder & Operations Collaboration
- Work directly with operations teams who actively use the systems
- Serve as customer‑facing relationship manager with Client Service Managers
- Collaborate with governance, alerting, hiring, and operations teams internally
- Coordinate with external vendors and installation partners
- Act as primary point of contact for OT‑related issues
Contract & SLA Management
- Ensure absolute SLA and contract compliance for operational systems
- Manage service delivery to meet business needs and operational requirements
- Oversee incident management and change management processes
- Ensure continuous operational support of critical building systems
- Track budgets and invoices across multiple OT projects
- Complete RFPs for vendor and contract procurement
- Submit and manage purchasing requests for equipment and systems
- Maintain lifecycle of application support contracts (Ignition & Kymera)
- Work with Finance and IT Construction PM teams on budget requirements
- Proactively identify and manage risks throughout service delivery
- Develop and implement contingency plans for critical system maintenance
- Remove roadblocks through hands‑on problem‑solving
- Take action to eliminate risks before they impact operations
- Manage teams of IT professionals and coordinate with OT specialists
- Assign task ownership and ensure timely completion
- Manage vendor relationships for industrial equipment and controls
- Facilitate contractor enrollment and track ISM tickets
- Balance departmental and project needs across global teams
Performance & Reporting
- Track performance metrics using Planner and Jira
- Capture data for business decision‑making
- Report project progress to stakeholders regularly
- Understand Business Architecture, Construction oversight, and CFOps management
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field preferred
Required Skills
- 5-8 years managing OT/industrial controls programs
- Hands‑on experience with SCADA systems
- Experience with EPMS (Electrical Power Monitoring Systems)
- Experience with BMS (Building Management Systems)
- Project management on SCADA, EPMS, BMS, and industrial integrations
- Deep knowledge of cooling systems, HVAC, pumps, motors, and control systems
- Experience with firmware updates, patching, and building upgrades
- Understanding of controllers and PLCs
- Data center environment experience with electrical and mechanical systems
- In‑depth understanding of BMS/EPMS monitoring solutions
- Experience working with operations teams in manufacturing/industrial settings
Technical Skills
- Electrical engineering knowledge or industrial software engineering background
- Network fundamentals: IPs, subnet masks, gateway networking, firewalls, routing
- Familiarity with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
- Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems
- Basic understanding of Azure Cloud and IIoT Azure cloud components
Program Management
- Both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
- Customer‑facing, schedule‑driven delivery in contract‑critical environments
- Budget tracking and financial management
- Vendor and contract management for industrial equipment
