Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an in-house skilled nursing facility in Florida. The role supports planning, organizing, and directing occupational therapy services to ensure high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities include screening residents, developing treatment plans, coordinating schedules with the care team, and ensuring proper documentation and billing. Must hold an active OTA license and an Associate's degree.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice is required.
• Engage in ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular resident screenings to determine best interventions.
• Perform treatment plans for residents and follow short- and long-term goals.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings to residents, families, and the team.
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules with the team.
• Document and bill occupational therapy services per plan of care.
• Perform other duties to effectively treat patients as assigned.
• Comply with CMS documentation standards on a daily basis.

Education

Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy

Active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice
