Job summary

Focused Post Acute Care Partners FPACP in Beaumont, TX is seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant to support the Rehabilitation Department. Under supervision, you will implement treatment plans and assist with patient therapy sessions.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in occupational therapy assistant from an accredited college.
• Current state license/registration as a COTA is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in developing and implementing patient care plans.
• Guide patients through prescribed exercise programs to improve strength and range of motion.
• Record patient responses and progress in charts and communicate with the supervising OT.
• Maintain treatment areas and equipment following sterile procedures.
• Support daily patient care and scheduling responsibilities.
