Job summary
La Hacienda De Paz Rehabilitation and Care Center is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to provide person-centered care and help residents improve independence and quality of life. You will work under an OT, plan and administer treatments, document thoroughly, and collaborate with families and caregivers.
Ideal candidates hold a Texas OT license and COTA credential; SNF/LTC experience and Net Health familiarity are preferred.
Qualifications
- Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
- COTA credential required.
- SNF/Long-term care experience preferred.
- Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs.
Responsibilities
- Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients.
- Provide skilled OT services under supervision of an OT.
- Respond to requests for service by relaying information.
- Ensure all treatments follow the established plan of care.
- Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers.
- Monitor patient response to treatment and report changes.
- Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely.
- Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab
