The Healthcare Resort of Kansas City is seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab program, serving our geriatric clientele in Kansas City, KS. You will work under an Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitative services, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and patient progress assessments, in accordance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable.
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of assistive devices.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising OT to adjust treatments.
• Report treatment outcomes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
