Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join a skilled nursing facility therapy team in Virginia Beach. You will help restore patients to optimal function and support discharge goals under OT supervision.

The role emphasizes education, exercise programs, and collaboration with therapists and staff to maintain progress and prevent decline, in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited college.
• Must hold a current and valid license granted from the state of employment.
• Current and valid OTA license granted from state of employment.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Restore patient to optimal physical function and facilitate achievement of goals within a SNF setting.
• Instruct patients in maintaining function after discharge through education and independent exercise programs.
• Work under supervision of OT and DOR to support therapy goals.
