Job summary

Evolve-Therapy-Services in Florida is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility on a 6-month contract-to-permanent basis. The role involves planning, directing and documenting occupational therapy services, working with an interdisciplinary team to meet residents' goals, and ensuring CMS standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screening of residents to determine best intervention or treatment.
• Perform treatment plans following established goals set by supervising therapist.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings and recommendations to residents, families, and care teams.
• Establish resident therapy schedules with team members.
• Document and bill occupational therapy services according to plan of care.
• Perform other duties as assigned to effectively treat patients.
• Comply with CMS documentation standards daily.

Education
