Job summary

Evolve-Therapy-Services in sunny Florida is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility on a 6-month contract-to-permanent basis. Flexible schedule with relocation assistance available; Full Time, Part Time, or PRN options.

Job duties include screening residents, implementing treatment plans, communicating findings to families and the interdisciplinary team, and ensuring proper documentation and billing of OT services.

Qualifications

• MUST have active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screening of residents to determine the best intervention for each patient.
• Perform treatment plans and follow short- and long-term goals under supervision.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings to residents, families, and the team.
• Establish individual therapy schedules with other team members.
• Conduct therapy according to the plan and document and bill OT services.
• Perform other duties to effectively treat patients.
• Comply with CMS documentation standards daily with point-of-care documentation.
