Job summary

A leading rehabilitation service provider in California is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to implement therapy programs for patients in a facility. The role requires a graduate of an accredited program and initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. This position offers competitive hourly pay between $45 and $50, with various benefits including medical, dental, and vision plans. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities for patients.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Address the whole patient and treat them as an individual.
• Adapt to the needs of patients and enjoy the variety of work settings.
• Collaborate with peers and refer patients for additional care as needed.
• Provide a caring and compassionate atmosphere to ensure highest quality of service for patients and families.
