Peraton seeks an OT Assessment Lead to support PACOM J6 in establishing the organizational foundation for OT/ICS cybersecurity assessments across the PACOM AOR. Leads the four-person OT pilot team which is integrated with a larger cyber assessments team.

Location: Fort Meade (Annapolis Junction), MD. Primary responsibilities include coordinating OT assessment activities, developing OT criteria, and integrating with current workflows to deliver Phase I/II assessments across the AOR.

Competenze

• Must understand physical and logical communication methods and protocols used in IC, PLC, SCADA, DCS, RTU, and HMI systems.
• Knowledgeable of current cybersecurity techniques specific to control systems.
• Awareness of emerging trends and technologies in the convergence of OT and IT networks.
• Understand IC operations and what normal and abnormal operations look like.
• Understand methods used by threats to disrupt, manipulate, or control OT systems.
• Must be knowledgeable of OT cybersecurity best practices, threat landscape, and mitigation strategies in SCADA, PLC, Human Machine Interface (HMI), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and other industrial automation systems.
• U.S Citizenship required
• Active TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D. Will consider HS+16 years.
• Must have understand physical and logical communication methods and protocols used in IC, PLC, SCADA, DCS, RTU, and HMI systems
• Knowledgeable of current cybersecurity techniques specific to control systems
• Awareness of emerging trends and technologies in the convergence of OT and IT networks

Desired Qualifications:

• Certifications/training/experience:
  • ISA/IEC 62443, SANS GIAC Critical Infrastructure Protection (GCIP), or
  • GIAC Response and Industrial Defense (GRID) Certification, or
  • ICS612 training, or
  • at least 5 years of specific OT/ICS cybersecurity experience
  • IAM Level III certification
