Job summary

Peraton seeks an OT Operations Assessment Coordinator to support PACOM J6 in establishing the organizational foundation for OT/SCADA-focused cybersecurity assessments across the PACOM AOR. This role requires deep OT/ICS expertise and coordination across multiple teams at Fort Meade.

You will lead evaluation criteria, align OT/ICS security practices with NIST-style standards, and ensure timely site assessments with stakeholders while maintaining system integrity and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have strong OT/ICS cybersecurity background and familiarity with SCADA, PLC, HMI, DCS environments.
• Experience with OT/ICS risk assessments and security controls is required.
• Knowledge of OT networking protocols and industrial communication standards.
• U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain/maintain SCI access.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and integrate the OT Pilot Team's workflows with DCDC DRSI workflows.
• Develop OT-specific assessment and inspection criteria for OT environments.
• Ensure coordination for conducting numerous assessments across the PACOM AOR.
• Manage operations, points of contact, expectations, and logistics with stakeholders before assessments.
• Coordinate with other engineering teams to maintain system integrity.
• Provide required documentation to the assessment team for site reports.

OT Assessment Operations Coordinator

Location: Fort Meade (Annapolis Junction), MD

Responsibilities

Peraton seeks an OT Operations Assessment Coordinator to support PACOM J6 in establishing the organizational foundation for ITS/SCADA-focused cybersecurity assessments across the PACOM AOR.

• Coordinate and integrate the OT Pilot Team's workflows with the DCDC DRSI workflows
• Support the OT Pilot team's development of OT-specific assessment and inspection criteria
• Ensure coordination for the conduct of numerous assessments across the PACOM AOR
• Coordinate operations, POCs, expectations, and logistics with stakeholders ahead of OT assessments
• Coordinate with other engineering teams to maintain system integrity
• Provide any required documents to the assessment team for site reports

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD, Will consider HS+12 years of experience
• Knowledgeable of OT cybersecurity best practices, threat landscape, and mitigation strategies in SCADA, PLC, HMI, DCS, and other industrial automation systems
• Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, Spanning Tree, etc.), network design principles, knowledgeable of SCADA system architecture and operation, and familiarity with protocols commonly used in industrial environments (Modbus, Profibus, DNP 3, etc.)
• OT/ICS experience/expertise
• U.S Citizenship required
• Active TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI

Preferred Qualifications:

• IAT Level II certification
• CSSP-Analyst certification
• SANS GICSP/ GRID or CISSP
