OT Applications Systems Senior Developer
Primary Purpose
The OT Applications Systems Senior Developer is primarily responsible for the design, development, integration, and support of IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) Manage 9.0+ solutions. This role provides technical leadership in delivering scalable, secure, and reliable enterprise asset management capabilities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices. The position collaborates with business and technology teams to optimize system performance, streamline processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management, Information Systems, Business Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Seven (7) years of IBM Maximo development experience, including experience with MAS Manage.
- Five (5) years of recent experience focusing on system development, support, implementation, and upgrades.
- Five (5) years of development experience using C#, Python, Java, REST API/JSON and SQL.
- Strong SQL skills in MS SQL and/or Oracle databases.
- Experience with DevOps practices such as Git, GitHub, versioning, and source control.
- Ability to read and write code that implements business logic within model methods, properties, and events.
- Customer‑service oriented, analytical thinker, and strong organizational, time‑management and communication skills.
- Capability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Ability to multitask effectively, meet deadlines, and work in a WinForms, Microsoft.NET or equivalent environment.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate system requirements verbally and in writing.
- Experience in communicating business and technical issues to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to juggle multiple assignments with supervision commensurate with grade level.
Certifications, Licenses & Registrations
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record (for travel).
- Application Developer certifications preferred:
- IBM Maximo Manage v8.x Deployment Professional or above
- IBM Maximo Manage v8.x Administrator

Physical Demands

- May be required to stand and reach with hands and arms, walk, climb or balance, and lift up to 10–25 lbs.
Working Conditions
- Required to carry a cell phone and be available to respond during working and non‑working hours.
- Successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and a complete background check, including credit report for certain positions, after an offer has been extended and prior to being employed.

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $105,400 – $158,200 per year.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and support IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) Manage 9.0+ solutions to meet business and operational requirements.
- Configure and maintain Maximo applications, workflows, escalations, automation scripts, domains, relationships, and security controls.
- Lead the design and implementation of business process automation solutions and technical enhancements within Maximo Manage.
- Develop, maintain, and support integrations between Maximo Manage and enterprise systems utilizing MIF, REST APIs, and related technologies.
- Design, develop, and support reports, dashboards, and analytics using Maximo BIRT, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI.
- Configure, customize, and support mobile solutions that enable efficient field operations, including online and offline work execution capabilities.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable technical solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, integration, reporting, mobile, database, and performance‐related issues while providing production support and root cause analysis.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, database objects, and application configurations to ensure system performance, scalability, reliability, and data integrity.
- Lead technical design reviews and provide recommendations regarding application architecture, development standards, and Maximo best practices.
- Support application upgrades, patching, testing, deployments, and migration activities across development, test, and production environments.
- Develop and execute testing strategies, support user acceptance testing, and ensure solutions meet organizational quality, security, and compliance standards.
- Develop and deliver end‑user training, knowledge transfer sessions, technical documentation, and supporting materials to promote effective adoption of system enhancements and process improvements.
- Mentor technical team members through knowledge sharing, code reviews, and technical guidance while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and organizational objectives.
- Comply with all applicable safety, security, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
