Job summary

Cagayan State University is seeking a junior or senior in Computer Science or Computer Engineering to join the OT Applications Development team. You will work on templates, explore RAD, review data relationships in SQL, and contribute to SDLC improvements.

Familiarity with C#, VB.NET, and Git/Azure DevOps TFVC is expected, with independence and collaboration as needed. Preferred SQL/database experience and strong communication are valued.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with coursework in object-oriented programming.
• Experience with C# and VB.NET is preferred.
• Familiarity with Git and Azure DevOps TFVC source control.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with some team collaboration.
• Database experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the OT Applications Development team by creating and modifying application templates.
• Investigate rapid application development (RAD) as a complement to primary development.
• Examine SQL table relationships to understand the data layer.
• Consider coding methodologies to improve the SDLC.
• Explore migration from TFVC to Git in source control.
• Inspect migration from .NET Framework to .NET.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
