Job summary

Marous Brothers Construction is seeking a Safety Coordinator for a large OSU-area project. You will be the on‑site champion for a safe, productive jobsite, guiding crews through hazard identification, risk assessments, and safety compliance on a $100M+ student housing project.

Responsibilities include conducting orientations, toolbox talks, and site‑specific training, while logging inspections and reporting trends. A background with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and field‑level coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily site safety by walking projects, spotting hazards, and enforcing safety expectations.
• Log inspections, monitor trends, and deliver actionable reports using safety software and Microsoft 365.
• Coach teams on high‑risk activities and perform incident investigations with root‑cause analysis.
• Coordinate with superintendents, project managers, and subcontractors to keep safety on track.
