Job summary

Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health (LGH) Family Medicine Residency seeks an Osteopathic Core Faculty Member. Board-certified or board-eligible DO with strong OMT background is required.

The role includes curriculum development, resident supervision, and participation in inpatient and obstetric services across affiliated facilities. The position offers opportunities for teaching, research, and ongoing Osteopathic Education collaboration, with a comprehensive benefits package and CME support.

Qualifications

• DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified or board-eligible by ABFM or ACOBFP.
• Strong background in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and inpatient medicine/OB comfort.

Responsibilities

• Develop, present, and supervise curricula, treatment protocols, and other didactic materials.
• Precept residents at Downtown Family Medicine or Walter L. Aument Family Health Center.
• Maintain a limited continuity practice at Walter L. Aument Family Health Center, Family and Maternity Medicine, or Downtown Family Medicine.
• Supervise residents on inpatient service at Lancaster General Hospital and obstetrics service at Women and Babies Hospital.
• Serve as faculty advisor, conduct evaluations, and coordinate research audits of residents.
• Supervise an osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) clinic at residency sites.
• Collaborate with the Director of Osteopathic Education to ensure Osteopathic Recognition compliance.
• Assist with recruitment of future osteopathic residents at events.
