Infosys is seeking an Architecture Consultant 2 in Alpharetta, GA to analyze and design scalable, secure architectures for enterprise-grade applications. You will drive architecture discussions, assess technologies, and guide integration strategy across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

In the assigned Job Role of Architecture Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Participate in customer discussions to gather and analyze system requirements for performance, security and scalability.


• Provide suggestions on solution architecture, contribute to tech framework development, support enterprise architecture definition, and drive design creation


• Identify suitable technologies and tools available in the market, and perform a comparative analysis in line with client's business requirement, thereby identifying optimal architectural solution options


• Participate in developing integration strategies based on validation of proof of concept of proposed architectural solutions


• Facilitate a smooth transition by ensuring knowledge transfer and adherence to quality standards, while contributing to the build and deployment automation strategy


• Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues using solution deployment and roll out methods, during build, deployment and support phases


• Analyze system performance basis architectural solutions implemented and support in identifying potential risks in the system landscape


• Create artifacts of architectural frameworks and technical solutions, thereby enriching team's knowledge repository

Required Skill And Experience

• Expert-level Java (Java 11/17+), Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate/JPA


• Strong experience with microservices architecture, REST/GraphQL APIs, and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)


• Deep understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and domain-driven design (DDD)


• Proficient in Python for scripting, automation, data processing, or backend services (Flask/FastAPI/Django)


• Experience integrating Python-based tools/services (e.g., data pipelines, ML inference services) with Java systems


• Familiarity with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, or relevant automation/testing frameworks is a plus

Preferred Skill And Experience

• Strong grasp of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native design principles


• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)


• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)


• Knowledge of databases — both relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis)


• Understanding of security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, encryption, secure coding)

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
