Job summary

Infosys is seeking an Architecture Consultant 3 to design and review scalable, cloud-native solutions for the SURE unit across services, utilities, energy, and resources sectors. Translate business needs into architectural blueprints guiding implementation with focus on reliability and maintainability.

Collaborate with clients and internal teams to assess technologies, drive risk management, and ensure architectural decisions align with strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required; will consider equivalent experience.
• Strong experience in Java/Spring Boot; design and deliver cloud-native apps.
• Proven experience with AWS Cloud Services (EKS, MSK, Kinesis, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch).
• Experience with microservices, REST APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Create business requirement documents covering functional and non-functional requirements from client workshops.
• Review and develop solution architecture ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Assess technologies and platforms to meet business requirements and enable integration.
• Identify risks and propose optimization initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development teams and clients to ensure successful delivery.

In the assigned Job Role of Architecture Consultant 3, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Create business requirement documents covering functional and non-functional requirements, basis information gathered as part of workshops and interviews with client stakeholders
• Review, propose, and develop solution architecture, ensuring application design aligns with the proposed framework and which are scalable, reliable and maintainable
• Assess and recommend suitable technologies, tools and platforms for implementation as a part of architectural design, to meet business requirements
• Review technical solutions and develop strategies for integration with different technologies and systems, to ensure seamless communication and data flow
• Resolve complex technical challenges during build, deployment, and support phases while promoting reusable frameworks and artifacts
• Provide specialized insights to development team and build collaborative relationships with clients and internal teams, securing successful execution of projects
• Identify potential risks in the system landscape, monitor system performance and suggest optimization initiatives in line with business requirements and long-term objectives
• Establish and uphold comprehensive knowledge base to guarantee that vital information is systematically recorded and readily available
• Contribute to proposals and RFPs by delivering insights related to architectural solutions, for successfully delivering the proposed solutions

Required Skill and Experience

• Strong experience in Java/Spring Boot development, designing and delivering scalable, resilient, and cloud-native applications.
• Proven experience with AWS Cloud Services, including EKS, MSK, Kinesis, S3, IAM, Lambda, and CloudWatch.

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Hands-on expertise in Apache Kafka (Amazon MSK), Apache Flink and event-driven architectures for real-time data processing.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent cloud certification.
• Experience with Microservices Architecture, REST APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience building, testing, and optimizing real-time streaming data platforms and event-driven solutions.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or Go.
• Exposure to observability, developer platforms, self-service tooling, and performance testing frameworks.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
