Job summary

Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking an OSP Project Manager to join our Energy & Utility Group within the Telecommunications Team. This role supports planning, drafting, design, permitting and construction administration across multiple locations.

Responsibilities include managing client relationships and projects, supporting proposals, and overseeing design work with AutoCAD, MicroStation and related tools. Travel and site visits may be required.

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of OSP design experience.
Experience in Legal Mandate, IFP, Fiber Overbuild, FTTH, or LightGIG projects, including field data gathering, design and permitting.
Positive work ethic and excellent communication skills.
Ability to manage time effectively across multiple projects in office or field/remote environments.

Responsibilities

Manage client relationships and projects.
Support development of proposals – including project scope, schedule and budget.
Complete design and posting of telecommunications projects.
Review projects for accuracy, quality, and adherence to client specifications.
Plan and oversee work production to meet project deadlines and budgets.
Oversee work completed by technical and professional production staff.
Provide direction and support for permit plans and work prints drafted in AutoCAD, Microstation, Bluebeam, etc.
Provide office support for site visits and participate in site visits which may include overnight travel.

Farnsworth Group is seeking an OSP Project Manager in one of the following locations: Lisle, IL; Frisco, TX; Charlotte, NC; or St. Louis, MO. Qualified candidates will work with our Energy & Utility Group as part of the Telecommunications Team in the planning, drafting, design, permitting and construction administration of telecommunications and utility projects.
