About the Opportunity

Broadstaff is recruiting an Operations Manager for a rapidly growing telecommunications and fiber construction organization serving customers throughout the Southeast. This is an opportunity for a proven fiber construction leader to take ownership of a business unit responsible for Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) construction operations. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on operational leader who understands field execution, project profitability, customer relationships, crew management, and telecom construction delivery. If you've built fiber networks, managed crews, overseen multiple projects, and driven operational performance in a telecom construction environment, we'd like to speak with you.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily OSP and ISP fiber construction operations
• Manage field supervisors, construction crews, and project teams
• Drive safety, quality, production, and profitability objectives

What We're Looking For

Required Experience

• 3+ years of operations, construction, or field leadership experience within telecommunications or utility construction
• Experience managing fiber optic construction projects
• Experience leading remote field personnel and subcontractors
• Strong understanding of OSP construction practices
• Experience with project schedules, production metrics, and financial accountability
• Working knowledge of telecom construction safety standards
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Preferred Experience

• Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) Broadband network construction
• ISP/MDU/MxU deployments
• Underground and aerial construction
• Utility or telecom contractor experience
• Previous responsibility for P&L or business unit performance

Highly Preferred

• One of the current openings requires experience with: Copper networks Twisted-pair telecommunications infrastructure Windstream, CenturyLink/Lumen, or similar legacy telecom environments
