Job summary

Forged Fiber, a leading open-access fiber network provider, seeks a Network Implementation Engineer II to support OSP network design, financial processes, and regulatory coordination across projects in the Dallas area. You will manage engineering requests within an assigned geographic region and collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and city officials to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years in telecommunications, engineering, or network planning.
• Strong proficiency with engineering systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update Engineering Work Orders for new builds, upgrades, relocations, and fiber deployments.
• Review design prints and redlines; ensure accuracy and construction readiness.
• Develop OSP designs in 3GIS and use tools such as AutoCAD/CAD, Netsuite, Sitetracker.
• Process invoices and resolve discrepancies in financial documents.
• Coordinate with vendors, developers, builders, and municipalities on timelines.
• Engage with city departments to secure permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support Engineering II and Senior Engineers and update records as needed.
