Qualifications

Experience performing NESC inspections or on an aerial cable line crew.
Experience performing wooden pole ground line inspections.
Proficient in OSP Construction Standards.
Familiar with the National Electric Safety Code.
Computer skills: Windows XP, Excel, Outlook.
Familiar with internet usage and web page browsing.
Good communication skills.
Time management and organization skills.
Construction contractor management skills.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel on short notice.

Responsibilities

Inspect underground, buried, and aerial plant facilities to ensure standards are met.
Document inspections, audits, and pole transfers electronically; use email and phone for communication.
When required, perform inspections, audits, and transfers manually using printed spreadsheets.
Utilize mapping/GPS technology to aid inspections and record-keeping.
