Mountain Ltd. in Sandpoint, ID is seeking an OSP Construction Inspector to ensure underground, buried, and aerial plant facilities meet current standards through inspections and contractor-corrective work.

The role requires documenting inspections, audits, and pole transfers electronically, with communication via email and phone. Some tasks may be performed using printed spreadsheets; mapping/GPS familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience performing NESC inspections
• Experience on aerial cable line crew
• Pole line inspections experience
• Proficient in OSP Construction Standards
• Familiar with National Electric Safety Code
• Windows XP, Excel, and Outlook
• Internet usage and browser familiarity
• Good communication skills
• Time management and organization
• Contractor management skills
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel on short notice

Responsibilities

• Ensure underground, buried and aerial plant facilities meet current standards through inspections and corrections by contractors.
• Document inspections, audits, and pole transfers electronically; communicate via email and cellular.
• May perform inspections, audits, and transfers manually using printed spreadsheets.
• Familiarity with mapping/GPS technology.
