Job summary

Pearce Services in Oregon is seeking an OSP Inspector to support field inspections of underground, buried, and aerial plant facilities, ensuring compliance with current standards and regulations.

You will perform audits, document findings, and use mapping/GPS tools to verify infrastructure while coordinating with client and vendor teams. Travel and overnight stays may be required; base pay range is provided below.

Qualifications

• Experience performing NESC inspections or working on an aerial line crew.
• Experience conducting wooden pole ground line inspections.
• Familiarity with OSP Construction Standards and the National Electric Safety Code (NESC).
• Proficient in Windows, Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft Office products.
• Familiarity with mapping tools such as Microsoft MapPoint (preferred).
• Willingness to travel and operate in field.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client underground, buried, and aerial plant facilities comply with current standards through field inspections and verification of contractor work.
• Perform audits, inspections, and documentation of findings electronically and with printed spreadsheets as needed.
• Utilize mapping/GPS technology to locate and verify plant infrastructure.
• Communicate effectively via email and cellular phone with client and vendor management.
• Interface with construction crews, vendors, and client stakeholders to ensure project expectations are met.
• Travel to field sites as needed; some overnight stays required.
• Maintain records of all inspections, audits, and corrective actions performed.
• Mileage will be reimbursed for travel in accordance with company policy.
