TekCom Resources is seeking an experienced OSP Field Inspector to support broadband and fiber construction projects throughout Virginia. This field-based role involves monitoring subcontractor activities, inspecting construction quality, and ensuring work meets project specifications, safety standards, and scheduled deadlines.

Responsibilities include inspecting excavation, fiber installation, and restoration; reviewing drawings; documenting progress with photos; coordinating corrective actions;

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Experience in OSP telecommunications or fiber construction, inspection, or QA/QC.
• Knowledge of underground and aerial construction methods, including excavation, boring, cable placement, and restoration.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and travel between job sites.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on construction progress, quality, and potential delays.

OSP Construction, Fiber Optics, FTTH/FTTP/FTTx, QA/QC, Field Inspection, Construction Ride-Out (CRO), Aerial and Underground Fiber, Cable Placement, CATV, Utilities, NESC, Make-Ready Engineering, Pole Lines, OSP Surveying, and Field Data Collection.
