Job summary

StarTech Networks Inc. is seeking an OSP Field Engineer to conduct on-site surveys for fiber-optic and telecom projects in San Diego, CA. You will document existing conditions, validate routes, capture measurements, and prepare data for design and permitting.

The role involves outdoor work, GPS data collection, photos, and data uploads to Katapult Pro or IQGEO. This is a 1099 contract position with long-term potential and close collaboration with project teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in OSP fielding or telecom surveying preferred.
• AT&T experience preferred (IFP/ASE/GPON exposure a plus).
• Knowledge of Google Earth; KMZ/KML editing is a plus.
• Understanding of FTTx and AT&T GPON design is a plus.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
